As crazy as it sounds, I live 8,000 miles away from home, on a faraway desert island. Finding places that feel like home, is rare and beautiful. However, Brown University felt like home the first time I laid my eyes on it. This summer, I had the privilege of attending a week-long summer course at Brown University, an outstanding and beautiful ivy league school.

My Summer@Brown course was based around medicine. I learned so much that week from two incredibly smart and very funny teachers. We had the chance to look at human cadavers, practice medical interviews and exams, and learn all about the human body.

Along the way, I had the chance to make new friends and explore Providence, RI. Everyone I met was so kind, and we all lived such interesting and different lifestyles. I loved walking around Thayer Street everyday after class and getting Starbucks with my friends and looking at all the cute shops. The college lifestyle seems so much fun.

My favorite part of my experience at Brown, was the beautiful campus. The Main Green, my favorite quad was there I spent most of my time studying and blogging. There was greenery and beautiful buildings and architecture with lots of history. Needless to say, I'd be honored to go to Brown in a few years.
